Una Vulević introduces herself

Cameron sits down with new co-host Una Vulević to discuss her background and approach to the study of Slavic literature.

Normally, when we have someone on the podcast, I read a paragraph's worth of introduction for them. But for a new co-host, it probably made more sense for her to introduce herself.

Una Vulević is a Ph.D. student in Slavic Languages and Literatures at Stanford University. She obtained her B.A. and M.A., also in Slavic, at the University of Toronto and has been a visiting scholar at the University of Oxford. Una’s working languages Russian and Serbian. Her research interests include, but are not limited to, dissident memoirs, GULAG writings, and Holocaust fiction.

Our conversation touches on her professional background, how she got into the formal study of Slavic literature, and how we approach literature as a study.
